Philip Charles has been part of the fabric of this island for a long time. We started small, learned everything the hard way, and built our reputation on one principle: do the work properly, stand by it, and be there when it matters.

We’re not a national chain with a call centre on the mainland. We’re your local kitchen designers on the Isle of Man, and our heavily invested showroom is one of the largest on the island.

DESIGN SERVICE

We make the complex feel simple.

Every project begins with a conversation. We listen to what you want, what you need, and what you’ve already tried. Then we get to work. Using professional design software, we produce detailed 3D visuals of your kitchen before a single unit is ordered. You’ll see exactly what you’re getting, and you can change your mind before it matters.

We then present those designs in our showroom, walking you through every decision surrounded by the real materials and finishes you’re choosing. It’s the difference between imagining a kitchen and actually seeing it.

MANUFACTURING & MATERIALS

It starts before we arrive.

The Sheraton range is precision-engineered and comes with a 20-year guarantee, a reflection of what it’s made from. The Philip Charles Collection goes further: Every cabinet is built from oak or birch veneer plywood, with drawer boxes and fronts in oak, ash or tulipwood, hand painted or sprayed to your exact specification. Made to measure. Made to last.

INSTALLATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We manage the whole process.

Renovations are stressful enough. We coordinate with your builders, manage the trades, handle the sequencing, and make sure everything is delivered and installed to schedule. From the rip-out to the final snagging, we run the whole process, so you can focus on looking forward to the finished result.

AFTERCARE

We’re here long after the installation.

OUR STORY

From freestanding furniture to one of the Isle of Man’s largest kitchen showrooms.

Philip Charles began selling freestanding furniture, a long way from the handcrafted bespoke kitchens we build today. Over the years, we invested in premises, in skills, in people, and eventually in the showroom we now have: the largest kitchen showroom on the Isle of Man. That journey is the reason we understand this industry better than most. We’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and what clients actually value when the dust settles.
