The Indigo & Quartz Kitchen

Sheraton Savoy on the Isle of Man

The Challenge

Mr and Mrs L had a clear brief and weren’t interested in compromise. They wanted a kitchen with real visual impact, storage that actually solved problems rather than just providing more cupboards, and appliances that would keep up with a busy household. The project extended to a utility room, a home office, and a boot room. Everything connected. Everything considered. Done properly, or not at all.

The Solution

The Sheraton Savoy is a door with real character, an integrated handle that disappears into the profile and a shaker detail that gives the surface depth. Here it’s used in two tones: Indigo Blue on the island, Limestone on the surrounding units. The contrast is deliberate and confident. Two colours that feel made for each other.

The island is the room’s centrepiece, and the stone team, flown in from the UK to laser-template and precision-fit the worktops, gave it the ending it deserved. Mitered waterfall end gables: the quartz folding over the edge in one unbroken piece. The window sill was mitered to match. Details that most people won’t consciously notice, but that quietly make the whole room feel right.

Three Neff ovens sit beneath the hob, enough for serious cooking without the kitchen feeling like a catering operation. In the corner, a bi-folding pantry with LED lighting: a generous storage space that tucks itself away behind closed doors when it’s not needed, revealing itself in full when it is. Adjustable LED lighting runs above and below every wall unit, and along the plinths, so the room can be as bright or as atmospheric as the occasion demands.

The utility and office were finished to the same standard, because our approach applies to every room.
